Introduced to parkour through movies and television, Jherich became intrigued by its underlying concepts that were so closely related to the martial arts he was already studying. Upon completing a teaching certification program in Indiana, he became the first WFPF Level 2 instructor in Texas and the adjoining states. Since that first certification in 2012, he has been a part of multiple teaching programs in DFW focused on parkour and general movement. At Fugitive Fitness, he heads the Defense program and has been responsible for developing a proprietary movement system integrating Silat, Muay Thai, Wu Wei, Capoeira, and parkour.
